The rounded corners of this large decorative tray frame an illustration of Indonesia’s rich culture. The intricate artwork that adorns this piece is meticulously silk-screen printed, watercolored, and finished in high-gloss lacquer by Indonesian artisans—all by hand.

This craftsmanship results in minor differences that make each tray in the limited production run of 25 a unique creation.

The Philosophy

The head ornament of a bride from the indigenous Ewer ethnic group from West Papua in Indonesia represents her deep ancestral connection, as well as the beliefs and long history of her tribe, and consists of the siluke, made of cassowary feathers reaching high to the skies, and the juprew below it, made of shells and colorful beads.
